This unit is staffed by one Anesthesiologist, one Anesthesiologist, one Nurse, and one Medical Secretary. The Operating Unit includes one fully equipped operating room, a recovery room, and two patient rooms with two beds each. Surgical procedures (tooth extractions, gum treatment, bone grafting, bone cyst removal, etc.) performed under general anesthesia or sedation are performed in one room, while the other offers local anesthesia.

 

Patient groups to whom we apply general anesthesia and sedation:

 

-       Surgical procedures requiring general anesthesia.

 

-       Child and adult patients with developmental delay.

 

-       Uncommunicative (uncooperative) child patients

 

-      Child and adult patients with severe phobia (fear).

 

-       A patient group where many surgical procedures that cannot be performed in a single session with local anesthesia are planned to be performed under general anesthesia in a short time (2-3 hours).
